What's In It For You?
So what are you going to get out of this? Why do it?
I’m a straight shooter and I’ll be the first to admit that the evidence is mixed on speeding recovery from exercise or surgery.
I know, you’re thinking “what are you saying, Mike? Aren’t you selling this course?” And yes, I am.
That’s because I’ve seen it work and seen it work dramatically.
The studies are mixed, some show no decrease in recovery duration and some even show up to 50% faster recovery. Some people swear by it and some think it’s bogus.
It’s definitely not one-size-fits-all.
The Biggest Benefit
However, almost all the evidence does agree that LF makes recovery less miserable.
If you’ve ever had a major surgery, you know how bad it can be and how much, even if you can’t make the recovery time shorter, if you can at least make it more bearable and take fewer pain meds, how much that’s worth.
There isn’t really any significant argument about how LF improves the experience while you’re recovering.

Results Can Be Dramatic
But the results can be dramatic. My wife’s best friend fell & wrenched her knee about 5 years ago in one of those silly “really?” accidents and her knee swelled up. We told her to go see her doctor and my wife did some LF treatment for her.
She dragged her feet (figuratively speaking), but it was still bothering her (we suspected her ACL) and saw the doctor a week later. He took one look and said “that’s not your ACL, it would be more swollen!”. Well sure enough, he did his tests and revised his statement – “you tore your ACL!”.
My wife had accompanied her friend to the doc and explained what she’d done and he just couldn’t believe it, “that stuff doesn’t work” he said.
Well, I’ve seen it time and time again. In fact the only time I’ve seen it not work (on the appropriate conditions) is when one of two things happens – there are other complications or the patient doesn’t comply with the treatment.
Of course there can be no guarantee. But if you apply these techniques to the specific conditions outlined in this course, you should see good results.
Subtle, Yet Powerful
This stuff is subtle too.
How do you know that things aren’t worse? Since it reduces the discomfort but doesn’t eliminate it, how do we know they wouldn’t have been feeling a little better anyway? You can’t test a null hypothesis!
I’ve been fortunate to work with many people through this, including some who had to take a break for a vacation or would admit that they weren’t compliant with the self-care. The resounding chorus for those people was “it got a lot worse when I stopped”.

Missing Out on Life Hurts
Face it. We all want to get back to life, back to "normal", as fast as possible.
LF helps make sure you heal as fast as you possibly can and feel better while you do it. That helps you get back to your life.
The best case in point was a woman who was seeing me post-liposuction. I saw her for 6 sessions in 2 weeks and then she had to go on a business trip. When she got back she lamented over only having managed to do 2-3 rounds of self-treatment over the week she was gone and how much worse things got.
She was back into full-on misery mode.
After a few days of getting back on top of it and her symptoms dropped and she felt back on track.
Sure, she was traveling, but that’s exactly the point! Aggravating activities, travel, being upright for too long or moving about too much – those are all going to make things worse. And if you don’t take action to counteract them, it can be miserable.
Come on. Show of hands. How many of us have overdone it while recovering from something and regretted it? Lymphatic work shortens the timeframe of overdoing it and reduces the regret.
The Bottom Line
Ultimately, I’ve walked many people through surgical & injury recovery as well as on journeys through chronic illness and here is what LF can do for you:

Reduce symptoms of swelling & inflammation
By reducing the swelling, you also diminish the grief that it causes. All-natural pain management is a major benefit.

Less need for medications
Less pain & discomfort from the symptoms may mean you need fewer (or no) medications. Less NSAIDs, less anti-inflammatories, less opiates, less steroids. I've had some patients who were recovering addicts and this part was priceless for them.

regain control over your healing
Every time I’ve seen it… the recovery is worse than expected. It’s taking longer, it hurts more, there’s setbacks and relapses, secondary symptoms (recovering from a hip replacement causing back pain). And people feel like they are at the mercy of the process, they have no control. LF gives some of that control back. You can actually do something to get better and it helps your mental state so much to not be helpless and passive.

recover asap
While I’ve already said that I don’t believe Lymphatic Work speeds up healing, it will prevent your healing from stalling or being held back. You just want to get back in the game as soon as you can, right? Nobody wants to be on the bench during the game, or laid up in bed during their kid’s recital. LF lets you get back to life ASAP.
